chanuan

Sacred scrap metal saved from prior consecrated castings, melted and recast so that new images physically contain the old. Chanuan carries metal that was already sacred before the current batch was poured. Considered a higher-grade material than fresh metal.

Usage

The batch was cast from old chanuan, embedding the consecrations of earlier generations.
