barami

The accumulated spiritual perfection of a monk or practitioner, built through lifetimes of discipline, meditation, and merit-making. In the amulet world, barami is what a master transfers into the objects he consecrates. The deeper the barami, the more potent the consecration.

Usage

Devotees hold that the depth of a monk's barami determines the spiritual authority of every object he blesses.
