bucha

Veneration; honoring in the devotional sense. The word appears throughout the amulet world: a bucha price is a veneration price rather than a sale price, bucha images are the larger statues kept on altars rather than worn, and to bucha an object is to keep and honor it properly. The vocabulary keeps the language of devotion inside what might otherwise read as commerce.

Usage

The dealer lists a bucha price rather than a sale price out of respect.
