khao-or

The Khao Or academy (สำนักตักศิลามหาเวทย์เขาอ้อ), the most famous southern Thai esoteric school, based at Wat Khao Or in Khuan Khanun district, Phatthalung province. Trains both monks and lay masters in wicha. Known for mercury, black sticky rice luk om, and wan 108 compounds.

Usage

The nine masters at the Chatthan cave in Khao Or presided over the Sao Ha ceremony.
